He rose to fame in the late 1950s and early 1960s with hits such as "Mack the Knife," "Splish Splash," and "Beyond the Sea." Darin was known for his versatile musical style, which ranged from rock and roll to swing, pop, and folk music. He won a Grammy Award for Record of the Year for "Mack the Knife" in 1960.
In addition to his successful music career, Darin also appeared in several films, including "Come September" and "State Fair." He was known for his charismatic stage presence and dynamic performances. Tragically, Bobby Darin passed away on December 20, 1973, at the age of 37, due to complications from heart surgery.
