Artist Bio:
Bobby Darin was an American singer, songwriter, and actor who rose to fame in the late 1950s and 1960s. He was born Walden Robert Cassotto on May 14, 1936, in New York City. Darin started his music career as a rock and roll singer, but later transitioned to a more mainstream pop sound. He is best known for hits such as "Mack the Knife," "Dream Lover," and "Beyond the Sea."


In addition to his successful music career, Darin also appeared in several films, including "Come September" and "State Fair." He was known for his versatile musical style, which ranged from rock and roll to swing and folk. Darin was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010. He passed away on December 20, 1973, at the age of 37 due to complications from heart surgery.
