Artist Bio:
Bobby Darin was an American singer, songwriter, and actor who rose to fame in the late 1950s and early 1960s. He was born Walden Robert Cassotto on May 14, 1936, in New York City. Darin's musical style encompassed a variety of genres, including rock and roll, swing, pop, and folk. His most popular songs include "Mack the Knife," "Beyond the Sea," and "Dream Lover."


Darin was known for his versatile voice and charismatic stage presence. He won two Grammy Awards in his career and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990. In addition to his music career, Darin also appeared in several films, including "Come September" and "Captain Newman, M.D." He passed away on December 20, 1973, at the age of 37, following complications from heart surgery.
