Bobby Goldsboro is an American singer-songwriter who was born on January 18, 1941, in Marianna, Florida. He first gained recognition as a guitarist and vocalist for Roy Orbison's band in the early 1960s. Goldsboro later embarked on a successful solo career, achieving his biggest hit with the song "Honey" in 1968, which topped the charts in the United States and several other countries.


Throughout his career, Goldsboro released numerous albums and singles, with several of his songs reaching the top of the charts. In addition to his music career, he also hosted his own television variety show, "The Bobby Goldsboro Show," in the early 1970s. Goldsboro continues to be a respected figure in the music industry, known for his smooth vocals and heartfelt songwriting.
