Bobby Goldsboro is an American singer-songwriter who rose to fame in the 1960s and 1970s. Born on January 18, 1941, in Marianna, Florida, Goldsboro began his music career as a guitarist for Roy Orbison. He later pursued a solo career, releasing a string of successful singles including "Honey" and "Watching Scotty Grow." Goldsboro also hosted his own television variety show, "The Bobby Goldsboro Show," in the 1970s. Throughout his career, Goldsboro has received multiple music awards and continues to perform and record music.
