He later pursued a solo career, releasing a string of successful singles including "Honey" and "Watching Scotty Grow." Goldsboro also hosted his own television variety show, "The Bobby Goldsboro Show," in the 1970s. Throughout his career, Goldsboro has received multiple music awards and continues to perform and record music.
