Bobby Goldsboro is an American singer-songwriter who was born on January 18, 1941, in Marianna, Florida. He is best known for his pop and country music hits in the 1960s and 1970s. Goldsboro started his music career as a guitarist for Roy Orbison before launching his solo career in the 1960s.


One of his most popular songs is "Honey," which reached the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1968. Goldsboro also had other successful songs such as "Watching Scotty Grow" and "Summer (The First Time)." In addition to his music career, Goldsboro also hosted his own television variety show, "The Bobby Goldsboro Show," in the early 1970s. He continues to perform and record music, and his work has left a lasting impact on the music industry.
