Artist Bio:
Bobby Gregg was an American drummer and record producer, best known for his work as a session musician in the 1960s. He was born on April 18, 1936, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and began his music career playing in various bands before transitioning to work as a studio musician. Gregg is credited with playing drums on several iconic recordings, including Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone" and Simon & Garfunkel's "The Sound of Silence."


In addition to his session work, Bobby Gregg also led his own group called Bobby Gregg and His Friends. The group released an instrumental album titled "The Jam" in 1966, featuring Gregg on drums alongside other talented musicians. Although the group did not achieve mainstream success, Bobby Gregg's contributions to the music industry as a versatile drummer and producer continue to be recognized and celebrated.
