Bobby Hendricks is an American R&B singer who was born on February 22, 1938, in Columbus, Ohio. He is best known for his work as a member of the doo-wop group The Swallows in the 1950s. Hendricks joined the group in 1954 and recorded several songs with them, including their hit single "Will You Be Mine."
In addition to his work with The Swallows, Hendricks also had a successful solo career. He is most famous for his song "Itchy Twitchy Feeling," which was released in 1958 and reached the top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Hendricks continued to record and perform throughout the 1960s and 1970s, and his music has been influential in the development of R&B and rock and roll.
