He gained fame in the late 1960s and early 1970s as a teen idol with hits such as "Julie, Do Ya Love Me" and "Easy Come, Easy Go." Sherman also appeared on popular television shows of the era, including "Shindig!" and "Here Come the Brides." He released several albums during his music career, with his most successful being "Bobby Sherman" in 1971, which reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart.
In addition to his music career, Sherman had a successful acting career, appearing in TV shows like "The Partridge Family" and "Emergency!" He also starred in the TV series "Getting Together" and "Sanchez of Bel Air." After retiring from the entertainment industry in the mid-1970s, Sherman became an EMT and a reserve police officer. He continues to make occasional public appearances and remains a beloved figure from the era of teen idols.
