Bobby Vee, born Robert Thomas Velline on April 30, 1943, was an American pop singer who rose to fame in the early 1960s. He scored several hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, including "Take Good Care of My Baby," which reached number one in 1961. Vee's music was characterized by its catchy melodies and smooth vocals, which appealed to a wide audience.


Throughout his career, Bobby Vee released over 25 albums and had a total of 38 singles chart on the Billboard Hot 100. He continued to perform and tour for many years, gaining a loyal fan base that appreciated his music and stage presence.
