Bobby Vee was an American pop singer who rose to fame in the 1960s with hits like "Take Good Care of My Baby" and "Rubber Ball." Born Robert Thomas Velline on April 30, 1943 in Fargo, North Dakota, Vee became a teen idol with his smooth vocals and catchy tunes. He was known for his clean-cut image and was often compared to fellow pop stars like Buddy Holly.


Throughout his career, Vee had a total of 38 Top 100 chart hits, including ten in the Top 20. He continued to perform and record music throughout the years, earning a loyal fan base. Vee passed away on October 24, 2016, leaving behind a legacy of memorable music from the golden era of pop.
