Bobby Vinton is an American singer and songwriter who was born on April 16, 1935, in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. He is best known for his smooth vocal style and romantic ballads, which earned him the nickname "The Polish Prince." Vinton rose to fame in the early 1960s with hits like "Blue Velvet," "Roses Are Red (My Love)," and "Mr. Lonely."


Throughout his career, Bobby Vinton released over 75 albums and had more than 30 songs reach the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He was inducted into the Polish-American National Hall of Fame in 1999 and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2001. Vinton continues to perform and tour, delighting audiences with his timeless classics and charming stage presence.
