Bobby Vinton, born Stanley Robert Vinton Jr. on April 16, 1935, is an American singer and songwriter. He was popular in the 1960s and 1970s, known for his smooth voice and romantic ballads. Vinton's most famous songs include "Blue Velvet," "Roses Are Red (My Love)," and "Mr. Lonely."
Vinton has sold over 75 million records worldwide and has had more than a dozen songs reach the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2001 and continues to perform and record music to this day. Bobby Vinton is often referred to as "The Polish Prince" due to his Polish heritage and his success in the music industry.
