Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is an American hip hop group formed in Cleveland, Ohio in 1991. The group consists of five members: Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone, Bizzy Bone, Wish Bone, and Flesh-N-Bone. They are known for their unique harmonizing style and fast-paced rapping, as well as their melodic and introspective lyrics. Bone Thugs-N-Harmony gained widespread recognition with their debut album "E. 1999 Eternal," which featured the hit singles "Tha Crossroads" and "1st of tha Month."
In addition to their commercial success, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony have also received critical acclaim, winning a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for "Tha Crossroads" in 1997. They have collaborated with numerous artists in the hip hop industry and have released several albums throughout their career. Their style has influenced many contemporary artists and they are considered pioneers of the Midwest hip hop scene.
