Boomer Castleman was an American singer-songwriter and guitarist who was active in the 1970s. He is best known for his hit single "Judy Mae," which was released in 1975 and reached the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Castleman's music was a blend of country, rock, and pop, and he was known for his distinctive vocals and guitar playing style.


In addition to his solo career, Castleman was also a member of the band Southern Pacific, which he formed in 1983 with fellow musicians John McFee and Keith Knudsen. The band released several albums and had a number of chart-topping hits before disbanding in the early 1990s.
