Boomkat is an American electronic music duo consisting of siblings Kellin and Taryn Manning. Formed in 2002, the duo gained recognition for their unique blend of electronic, pop, and R&B influences. Boomkat released their debut album "Boomkatalog.One" in 2003, which featured the hit single "The Wreckoning" that reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart. They followed up with their second album "A Million Trillion Stars" in 2009.
Outside of their music career, Taryn Manning is also known for her acting roles in television shows and films such as "Orange Is the New Black" and "8 Mile," while Kellin Manning has worked as a music producer and songwriter for various artists.
