The band's original lineup consisted of Annabella Lwin on vocals, Matthew Ashman on guitar, Leigh Gorman on bass, and Dave Barbarossa on drums. They were managed by Malcolm McLaren, who was also known for managing the Sex Pistols. Bow Wow Wow gained popularity for their energetic music and unique style, combining elements of punk rock, new wave, and world music.
