Artist Bio:
Brandy Norwood, known professionally as Brandy, is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She was born on February 11, 1979, in McComb, Mississippi. Brandy rose to fame in the 1990s with hits such as "I Wanna Be Down" and "The Boy Is Mine," a duet with Monica. She has released several successful albums throughout her career, including her self-titled debut album in 1994, which went on to be certified quadruple Platinum.


In addition to her music career, Brandy has also found success as an actress, starring in the popular sitcom "Moesha" from 1996 to 2001. She has also appeared in several films, including "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer" and "Cinderella." Brandy has won numerous awards for her work, including a Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group for "The Boy Is Mine."
