Artist Bio:
Bread was an American soft rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1968. The band consisted of members David Gates (vocals, guitar, keyboards), James Griffin (vocals, guitar), Robb Royer (bass, guitar, flute, keyboards), and Mike Botts (drums). Bread achieved commercial success in the early 1970s with hits like "Make It with You," "Baby I'm-a Want You," and "Everything I Own."

Their music was known for its mellow and melodic sound, characterized by smooth harmonies and introspective lyrics. Bread disbanded in 1973, but their music continued to enjoy popularity through the years. David Gates, the primary songwriter for the band, went on to have a successful solo career, while other members pursued various musical endeavors. Bread's influence on the soft rock genre is still felt today, and their songs remain popular on classic rock radio stations.
