Artist Bio:
Brenda Holloway is an American singer and songwriter born on June 21, 1946, in Atascadero, California. She began her music career in the 1960s and signed with Motown Records in 1964. Holloway is known for her soulful voice and powerful vocal delivery, which earned her the nickname "Little Miss Dynamite."

Holloway released several successful singles during her time at Motown, including "Every Little Bit Hurts" and "When I'm Gone." She also co-wrote songs for other artists on the label, such as "You've Made Me So Very Happy," which became a hit for Blood, Sweat & Tears. Despite her talent and critical acclaim, Brenda Holloway did not achieve the same level of commercial success as some of her Motown labelmates. She continues to be celebrated by fans of soul music for her distinctive voice and emotional performances.
