Brenda & The Tabulations were an American R&B group formed in Philadelphia in the 1960s. The group was led by lead singer Brenda Payton, who possessed a distinctive and soulful voice. Their music blended elements of R&B, soul, and pop, and they were known for their smooth harmonies and catchy melodies.


One of their most successful songs was "Dry Your Eyes," released in 1967, which reached number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The group continued to release music throughout the 1960s and 1970s, with other notable songs including "Right on the Tip of My Tongue" and "The Touch of You." Despite not achieving mainstream success on the level of some of their contemporaries, Brenda & The Tabulations were respected for their unique sound and contributions to the R&B genre.
