Artist Bio:
Brighter Side of Darkness was an American R&B group formed in Chicago in the early 1970s. The group consisted of members Daryl Lamont, Randolph Murph, and Larry Washington, with their manager being H.B. Barnum. They are best known for their hit single "Love Jones," which was released in 1973 and reached #16 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song was a smooth soul ballad that showcased the group's harmonies and vocal abilities.

Despite the success of "Love Jones," Brighter Side of Darkness was unable to replicate the same level of success with their subsequent releases. The group eventually disbanded, but their hit single continues to be celebrated as a classic of 1970s R&B music.
