Brooks & Dunn is an American country music duo consisting of Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn. They formed in 1990 and quickly gained popularity in the country music scene. The duo released their debut album, "Brand New Man," in 1991, which produced four number one singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Brooks & Dunn went on to release a total of 12 studio albums, with many of their singles topping the charts.
Throughout their career, Brooks & Dunn won numerous awards, including two Grammy Awards and 20 Country Music Association Awards. They are known for their energetic live performances and their unique blend of country and rock influences. In 2010, after a successful 20-year career, Brooks & Dunn announced their decision to split up as a duo. Despite their breakup, both Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn continue to pursue solo careers in the music industry.
