Brooks & Dunn is an American country music duo consisting of Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn. They formed in 1990 and quickly rose to fame with their unique blend of honky-tonk and rock influences. The duo released their debut album, "Brand New Man," in 1991, which produced four number one singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Over the course of their career, Brooks & Dunn have released 12 studio albums and have had 20 number one singles.
Brooks & Dunn have won numerous awards, including two Grammy Awards and 27 Academy of Country Music Awards. They are also members of the Country Music Hall of Fame. The duo announced their retirement in 2009, but reunited in 2015 and continue to perform together. Brooks & Dunn are considered one of the most successful country music duos of all time, with a sound that has had a lasting impact on the genre.
