Brownsville Station was an American rock band formed in Michigan in 1969. The band was best known for their hit song "Smokin' in the Boys Room," which reached number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1973. Brownsville Station's music was characterized by its high-energy, hard rock sound and catchy hooks. The band's lineup consisted of members Cub Koda (guitar, vocals), Michael Lutz (bass, vocals), Tony Driggins (guitar), and Henry "H-Bomb" Weck (drums).
In addition to "Smokin' in the Boys Room," Brownsville Station released several other albums throughout the 1970s, including "Yeah!" and "School Punks." The band's music was often associated with the glam rock and proto-punk movements of the era. Brownsville Station disbanded in the late 1970s but left a lasting impact on rock music with their energetic performances and catchy songs.
