Bruce & Terry were an American pop music duo consisting of Bruce Johnston and Terry Melcher. They were active in the early 1960s and are best known for their surf music sound.
Bruce Johnston later went on to join The Beach Boys as a replacement for Brian Wilson in 1965, while Terry Melcher became a successful record producer, working with artists such as The Byrds and Paul Revere & The Raiders. Despite their short-lived career as a duo, Bruce & Terry left a lasting impact on the surf music genre and are remembered for their catchy melodies and harmonies.
