Bucky Covington is an American country music singer and songwriter. He rose to fame as a contestant on the fifth season of the reality television show "American Idol" in 2006, where he finished in eighth place. Following his appearance on the show, Covington signed a record deal with Lyric Street Records and released his self-titled debut album in 2007. The album produced three singles that charted on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, including "A Different World" which peaked at number six.
In addition to his music career, Bucky Covington has also made appearances in television shows and movies, including a cameo in the hit TV series "Nashville." He continues to release music and tour, connecting with his fans through his heartfelt and relatable country music.
