Buddy Miles was an American musician best known for his work as a drummer and vocalist. He was born on September 5, 1947, in Omaha, Nebraska, and passed away on February 26, 2008, in Austin, Texas. Miles gained prominence in the music industry as a member of the band The Electric Flag in the 1960s, where he showcased his powerful and soulful voice.


Miles later joined Jimi Hendrix's band, Band of Gypsys, and played drums on the influential live album "Band of Gypsys." He also released several solo albums throughout his career, including his most famous work, "Them Changes," which featured the hit title track. Buddy Miles' musical style blended rock, funk, and soul, making him a versatile and respected artist in the music world.
