Buffalo Springfield was a 1960s American-Canadian rock band formed in Los Angeles. The group was active from 1966 to 1968 and is known for its fusion of folk, rock, and country music. Buffalo Springfield is considered one of the key bands in the development of folk-rock and the California sound.


The band's members included Stephen Stills, Neil Young, Richie Furay, Dewey Martin, and Bruce Palmer. Some of their most famous songs include "For What It's Worth" and "Mr. Soul." Their self-titled debut album was released in 1966 and was followed by two more albums before the group disbanded in 1968. Despite their short-lived career, Buffalo Springfield had a significant influence on the music scene of the 1960s and beyond.
