Sigler was known for his contributions to the Philadelphia soul music scene in the 1960s and 1970s. He collaborated with artists such as The O'Jays, Patti LaBelle, and Gladys Knight, among others.
Sigler gained recognition for his songwriting skills, penning hits like "The Ruler of My Heart" for Irma Thomas and "Sunshine" for The O'Jays.
