Candlebox is an American rock band that was formed in Seattle, Washington in 1990. The band's original lineup consisted of lead vocalist Kevin Martin, guitarist Peter Klett, bassist Bardi Martin, and drummer Scott Mercado. They gained popularity in the early 1990s with their self-titled debut album, which included hit singles such as "Far Behind" and "You". The album was certified platinum and helped solidify Candlebox's place in the grunge and alternative rock scene of the time.
Since their debut, Candlebox has released several more albums, including "Lucy" (1995), "Happy Pills" (1998), and "Disappearing in Airports" (2016). The band has undergone numerous lineup changes over the years, with Kevin Martin being the only consistent member. Despite these changes, Candlebox continues to tour and release new music, maintaining a dedicated fan base and a reputation for their energetic live performances.
