Artist Bio:
Candyman, whose real name is Byron Reed, is an American rapper from Los Angeles, California. He gained fame in the early 1990s with his hit single "Knockin' Boots", which peaked at number nine on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song's catchy hook and funky beat helped it become a popular party anthem and a staple of 90s hip-hop.
In addition to "Knockin' Boots", Candyman released other singles such as "Melt in Your Mouth" and "Nightgown", but he never quite reached the same level of commercial success as his breakout hit. Despite this, Candyman remains a respected figure in the hip-hop community for his contributions to the genre during the golden era of rap music.
