Sager has collaborated with renowned musicians such as Burt Bacharach, Marvin Hamlisch, and Neil Diamond, among others. She has won multiple Grammy Awards and an Academy Award for Best Original Song for "Arthur's Theme (Best That You Can Do)" in 1982.


In addition to her successful songwriting career, Carole Bayer Sager has released several solo albums as a singer. Some of her most famous compositions include "That's What Friends Are For" and "Don't Cry Out Loud."
