The Cate Brothers are a musical duo consisting of twin brothers Earl and Ernie Cate. They are known for their blend of rock, soul, and blues music, as well as their tight harmonies and instrumental skills. The Cate Brothers gained popularity in the 1970s with albums such as "Cate Bros." (1975) and "In One Eye and Out the Other" (1976).


The duo's music has been described as a mix of Southern rock and Memphis soul, with influences ranging from The Allman Brothers Band to Al Green. The Cate Brothers have also worked as session musicians, contributing to recordings by artists such as Elvis Presley and Roy Orbison.
