The original members of Chairman Of The Board were General Norman Johnson, Eddie Curtis, Danny Woods, and Harrison Kennedy. The group achieved success with hits like "Give Me Just A Little More Time" and "Pay To The Piper". General Norman Johnson, the lead singer, had a distinctive voice that helped define the group's sound. The group continued to release music throughout the 1970s and experienced moderate success before disbanding in the late 1970s.
