Charles Fox is an American composer, songwriter, and pianist born on October 30, 1940, in New York City. He is best known for his work in composing music for film and television, including scoring the iconic theme song for the hit TV series "The Love Boat." Fox has also composed music for numerous other television shows, such as "Happy Days," "Laverne & Shirley," and "Love, American Style."


In addition to his work in television, Charles Fox has composed music for several films, including "The Other Side of the Mountain" and "Foul Play." Throughout his career, Fox has been nominated for several Grammy and Academy Awards for his musical contributions to the entertainment industry. He has also received recognition for his work from organizations such as ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers) and the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
