Charlie Drake was an English comedian, actor, and singer, born on June 19, 1925, in London, England. He gained popularity in the 1950s and 1960s with his comedic performances on television, radio, and in films. Drake was known for his slapstick humor and eccentric characters, often portraying bumbling and hapless individuals in his comedy sketches.


In addition to his work in comedy, Charlie Drake also had a brief career as a singer, with a few of his songs reaching the UK charts. He starred in his own television show, "The Charlie Drake Show," which ran from 1958 to 1960. Drake's career spanned several decades, and he continued to make appearances on television and in films until his death on December 23, 2006, in Twickenham, London, at the age of 81.
