Charlie Sexton is an American musician and songwriter born on August 11, 1968, in San Antonio, Texas. He started his music career at a young age, joining the band Arc Angels in the late 1980s. Sexton is best known for his work as a solo artist, releasing several albums including "Pictures for Pleasure" in 1985 and "Cruel and Gentle Things" in 2005.


In addition to his solo career, Sexton has also collaborated with various artists such as Bob Dylan, Keith Richards, and The Rolling Stones. He has worked as a guitarist and backing vocalist for Dylan's band since the late 1990s. Sexton's musical style blends rock, blues, and Americana influences, showcasing his versatile talent as a guitarist and singer-songwriter.
