Cheap Trick is an American rock band formed in Rockford, Illinois in 1973. The band consists of members Robin Zander (vocals, rhythm guitar), Rick Nielsen (lead guitar), Tom Petersson (bass guitar), and Daxx Nielsen (drums). They are known for their blend of hard rock, power pop, and punk rock influences, and are best known for their hit singles "Surrender," "I Want You to Want Me," and "The Flame."
Cheap Trick gained popularity in the late 1970s and early 1980s with their energetic live performances and catchy hooks. They have released over 20 studio albums and have sold over 20 million records worldwide. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016 in recognition of their influence on the rock music genre.
