Cheap Trick is an American rock band formed in Rockford, Illinois in 1973. The band consists of members Robin Zander (vocals, rhythm guitar), Rick Nielsen (lead guitar), Tom Petersson (bass guitar), and Daxx Nielsen (drums). They gained popularity in the late 1970s with their blend of power pop, punk rock, and hard rock sound. Cheap Trick is best known for their hit songs "Surrender," "I Want You to Want Me," and "Dream Police."
The band has released over 20 studio albums and has sold over 20 million records worldwide. Cheap Trick was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016. Known for their energetic live performances, the band continues to tour and release new music, maintaining a dedicated fan base over the decades.
