Cheap Trick is an American rock band formed in Rockford, Illinois, in 1973. The band consists of members Robin Zander (vocals, rhythm guitar), Rick Nielsen (lead guitar), Tom Petersson (bass guitar), and Daxx Nielsen (drums). They are known for their catchy melodies, energetic live performances, and a blend of power pop, punk, and hard rock elements in their music.


Cheap Trick gained popularity in the late 1970s and early 1980s with hits like "Surrender," "I Want You to Want Me," and "Dream Police." They have released over 20 studio albums, with their most successful being "At Budokan," which was released in 1979 and achieved multi-platinum status. The band has also been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016. Despite lineup changes over the years, Cheap Trick continues to tour and record new music, maintaining a dedicated fan base worldwide.
