Cheech & Chong is a comedy duo consisting of Richard "Cheech" Marin and Tommy Chong, known for their stand-up routines, comedy albums, and films. They rose to fame in the 1970s and 1980s for their counterculture humor, which often revolved around drug culture and the hippie movement. Their debut album, "Cheech and Chong," was released in 1971 and was followed by a series of successful albums, such as "Big Bambu" and "Los Cochinos," which earned them a Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album in 1973.


In addition to their albums, Cheech & Chong also starred in a series of popular comedy films, including "Up in Smoke" (1978), "Cheech & Chong's Next Movie" (1980), and "Nice Dreams" (1981). Their unique brand of humor and iconic characters made them a staple in the comedy world and cemented their status as cultural icons.
