Chicago is an American rock band formed in 1967 in Chicago, Illinois. The band was originally called The Big Thing before changing their name to Chicago Transit Authority, and eventually shortening it to Chicago. Known for their unique blend of rock, jazz, and horn-driven sound, Chicago has released numerous hit songs, including "Saturday in the Park," "25 or 6 to 4," and "If You Leave Me Now."


Chicago has sold over 100 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling music groups of all time. They have received multiple Grammy Awards and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016. Throughout their career, Chicago has undergone several lineup changes but continues to tour and perform to this day, maintaining a dedicated fan base around the world.
