Chilliwack achieved commercial success in the 1970s and 1980s with hit songs such as "Lonesome Mary," "Fly at Night," and "My Girl (Gone, Gone, Gone)." They are known for their melodic rock sound that incorporates elements of progressive and psychedelic rock.
The band went through several lineup changes over the years, with Bill Henderson being the only constant member.
