Christine McVie is a British singer, songwriter, and keyboardist best known for her work as a member of the rock band Fleetwood Mac. Born on July 12, 1943, in Bouth, Lancashire, England, McVie joined Fleetwood Mac in 1970 and became an integral part of the band's sound. She wrote many of the band's hit songs, including "Don't Stop" and "You Make Loving Fun." In addition to her work with Fleetwood Mac, McVie released three solo albums in the 1980s, showcasing her talents as a singer and songwriter. She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1998.
