Christine McVie, born Christine Anne Perfect on July 12, 1943, is a British singer, songwriter, and keyboardist best known for her work as a member of the rock band Fleetwood Mac. She joined the band in 1970 and was a key member during their most successful period in the 1970s and 1980s. McVie's contributions to Fleetwood Mac include hit songs such as "Don't Stop," "You Make Loving Fun," and "Songbird."
In addition to her work with Fleetwood Mac, McVie has released several solo albums, including her self-titled debut in 1984. She took a break from the band in the late 1990s but rejoined in 2014. McVie was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1998.
