Chuck Jackson is an American R&B singer born on July 22, 1937, in Latta, South Carolina. He began his music career in the 1960s and is known for his smooth and soulful voice. Jackson signed with Wand Records and released his debut album, "I Don't Want to Cry," in 1961, which included his hit single of the same name. He continued to release successful albums throughout the 1960s, including "Any Day Now" and "I'll Never Find Another You."
In addition to his solo career, Chuck Jackson collaborated with other artists such as Maxine Brown and had several duet hits. He is considered a pioneer of the soul music genre and has been inducted into the Rhythm and Blues Music Hall of Fame. Jackson's music continues to be celebrated for its emotional depth and powerful vocal delivery.
