Chuck Jackson is an American R&B and soul singer born on July 22, 1937, in Latta, South Carolina. He began his music career in the 1950s as a member of the Del-Vikings before pursuing a solo career. Jackson is best known for his hits in the 1960s, including "Any Day Now" and "I Don't Want to Cry." He recorded for various record labels such as Wand, Motown, and All Platinum Records throughout his career, releasing numerous albums and singles.
