Claudine Longet is a French singer, actress, and dancer, born in Paris on January 29, 1942. She gained popularity in the 1960s and 1970s for her musical talents and appearances in television and film. Longet released several albums in the 1960s, including "Colours" and "Love is Blue." She also appeared on various television shows, such as "The Ed Sullivan Show" and "The Andy Williams Show."


In addition to her music career, Longet also acted in films such as "The Party" alongside Peter Sellers. She was married to singer Andy Williams from 1961 to 1975 and gained further attention due to her high-profile relationship. Longet's career faced a setback in 1976 when she was involved in a highly publicized incident in which she fatally shot her boyfriend, skier Spider Sabich. She was charged with manslaughter but ultimately served a short jail sentence and continued to maintain a lower profile in the entertainment industry.
