Artist Bio:
Claudine Longet is a French singer, actress, and dancer who gained popularity in the 1960s and 1970s. She was born on January 29, 1942, in Paris, France. Longet started her career as a singer in France before moving to the United States where she found success as a recording artist.

In addition to her music career, Longet also appeared in a number of films and television shows, including "The Party" (1968) and "McHale's Navy" (1962-1966). She was married to singer Andy Williams from 1961 to 1975. Longet's career was marred by controversy in 1976 when she was charged with fatally shooting her boyfriend, skier Spider Sabich. She was convicted of misdemeanor negligent homicide and sentenced to 30 days in jail. Longet's career declined after the incident, and she largely withdrew from the public eye.
